Our Standards

How we fact-check

Every claim about Rainbet or any other operator in our reviews is checked against a primary source before publication. For bonus terms, that means the operator's own terms and conditions page, not a third-party summary. For payment methods, it means the real cashier page, with test deposits where feasible. For game counts, it means the live lobby filter on the casino itself. Numbers we quote (such as minimum deposit, wagering requirement, or maximum cashout) are checked by at least two members of our editorial team before a review goes live. When a claim depends on reader experience rather than published terms, for example withdrawal times, we say so and give an honest range rather than a single flattering figure. Reviews are reviewed again on a regular cycle, because bonus terms at crypto casinos change often. If you spot something that does not match the current reality at Rainbet, please tell us through the contact form and we will update it.

Editorial principles

Hunterowner reviews are built on a short list of principles that have not changed since the site launched:

  • be honest about what Rainbet does well and what it does poorly, in the same review
  • be specific: a number, a quote from the terms, or a step-by-step is more useful than a vague adjective
  • be current: an outdated bonus value is worse than no bonus value, so we re-check on a schedule
  • be fair to the operator: if Rainbet responds to a criticism or changes a policy, we update the review
  • be useful to Canadian players: everything we publish is written with that audience in mind
  • separate opinion from fact: our opinions carry the editorial team's voice; facts are checked

If a story would be more exciting with a shortcut or a half-truth, we take the slower, more boring, more accurate route instead. The reader is better served by that trade-off every time.

Why we stay independent from operators

The affiliate model that funds Hunterowner creates a built-in temptation: operators pay us commission, so we have an incentive to say nice things about them. We counter that in a few concrete ways. Our ratings are set by the editorial team, not by whoever pays us the highest commission. Rainbet does not get a preview of a review before it is published and does not get a veto on the final text. If we are offered a higher commission in exchange for a more positive write-up, we decline, and we would publicly note the attempt if it ever became a pattern. We do not accept paid guest posts or sponsored content disguised as editorial. When a casino disputes something we have written, we re-check the facts; if we got it wrong, we fix it; if we got it right, the criticism stays. Readers are welcome to compare our Rainbet coverage with other English-language sources and see for themselves whether our tone sounds bought or earned.
